For the last three years a group of Geowall software developers, researchers, and educators have met and discussed development of 3D stereo visualization tools in the Geosciences. This year the meeting took place at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO), University of California San Diego. The meeting had a research focus. SIO has one GeoWall1 workstation and one Linux cluster-driven Geowall2.
This meeting was organized by SIO visualization center staff Rob Newman, Debi Kilb, Atul Nayak, Graham Kent, and Kitty Haak. Rob Newman and Atul Nayak were the local contacts. Paul Morin, Jason Leigh, Andy Johnson, Peter van Keken and Brian Davis were on the steering commitee for this meeting.
