ABOUT-HARDWARE-PANORAM

The Panoram GVR-120E is a curved screen immersive display solution for permanent installations, including briefing centers, visualization facilities, design collaboration centers and demonstration theaters. It is fully scalable from an image size of 8' 6" X 28' 4" (259 X 864 cm) down to an image size of 5' " X 18' 11" (173 X 577 cm). Facility engineering is built into the product price. It is an ideal curved screen environment for 20-60 people but is often used for smaller groups who wish to have a very large immersive image. Visit the Panoram website for more details.

SCREEN OPTIONS

The screen options include the standard, which is a flexible vinyl screen; the optional rigid acrylic, which is a perfectly cylindrical hard surface screen; and the compound curve option, which utilizes the renowned Sigma Design Torus screen which can be tuned for the optimum viewing area in the facility. The compound curve option comes with a complete ray-trace study of the proposed facility.


PROJECTORS

The projectors feature auto convergence to simplify maintenance and come ready for active matrix, stereographic operation with the addition of IR transmitters and LCD shutter glasses.


AUDIO

The audio system is a six channel surround sound system with LR front, LR rear, center and subwoofer. A theatrical audio upgrade package is available which includes enhanced speakers, dual subwoofers, third octave graphic equalizers, separate amplifiers, mic mixer and more.


INTEGRATOR

The Integrator™3 provides complete system control of 8 or 16 inputs through an intuitive and user friendly interface for operation and for maintenance. This interface can be remoted to any laptop or even CE computer with the included software. Additionally, the Integrator™3 is fully compatible with conference facility style control systems such as Crestron or AMX, which see the entire Panoram display as just another remote device. This type of interface provides touch screen, podium level control of highly sophisticated functions, facility and screen formatting.
